ANOTHER QB WE BE RELOCATING ALABAMA CRIMSON.

Alabama football has had a turbulent offseason overall, but the offensive coaching staff has been especially damaged. Upon replacing Nick Saban, offensive coo

rdinator Ryan Grubb and offensive line coach Scott Huff were initially appointed by Kalen DeBoer.

And then the NFL called. More upheaval occurred in Tuscaloosa when Grubb and Huff both departed to take positions with the Seattle Seahawks. Resuming his efforts, DeBoer completed his on-field personnel for the 2024 campaign, assuming no more defections

Sheridan was promoted after joining DeBoer as Alabama’s tight ends coach. Following Grubb’s departure, the Crimson Tide declared he will serve as both the quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator in 2024.

“Joining coach DeBoer at Alabama is an incredible opportunity,” Sheridan stated in a UA statement. “I’m excited to collaborate with this offensive staff to create a weekly strategy that will position our squad for victory. At Alabama, we have an unparalleled legacy, and I know how important it is to maintain that while we develop our guys..

Sheridan has experience as an offensive coordinator, having replaced DeBoer as OC at Indiana after the latter accepted a head coaching position at Fresno State. He worked in Bloomington for two seasons in that capacity.

He then joined DeBoer as a tight ends coach for the Huskies. Sheridan has served as a coach in South Florida, Western Kentucky, and Tennessee.
From 2006 until 2010, Sheridan was a quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines during his collegiate career.
