BRAKING NEWS: Stephen Curry announced his departure and….

During NBA All-Star festivities on Saturday night, Sabrina Ionescu,

 

a former Oregonian and current WNBA star, will have the opportunity to showcase her 3-point shooting skills against the greatest of all time. Ionescu will play Stephen Curry in a three-point shooting competition on Saturday.

Ionescu is glad that she gets to set an example for other female basketball players to follow in addition to her desire to win. She wants to prove she can outshoot Curry on the court because she was once an idol of his.

Before the action started on Saturday on NBA on TNT, Ionescu remarked, “All young girls that are watching, being able to watch this and see that one day too they can come out here and shoot against their idol, shoot against the best shooter in the world, and nothing is going to stop them.”

Ionescu will undoubtedly have a difficult time stopping Curry, who leads the NBA in 3-pointers made and ranks 12th in 3-point percentage among all players. Curry has hit over 42% of his career’s field goals from beyond the arc.
