After a disappointing end to the previous season, the Philadelphia Eagles are making adjustments this summer. They were defeated by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round, as was to be expected, after losing five of their final six games in the regular season. That’s given us a lot to talk about.

The Philly front office is currently getting ready for free agency and the NFL Combine after making adjustments to the coaching staff. Additionally, they have chosen to permit outside linebacker Haason Reddick to look for a trade. But the 29-year-old native of Camden, New Jersey claims he never requested permission from the group to look for one

After two fantastic seasons with the team, are the Eagles letting him go? The wisdom of something is a matter on which opinions differ.

NFL insider Jordan Schultz of Bleacher Report claims that Reddick said to him, “I would like to get an extension done here at home.” I never expressed my desire to be traded to the organization at any time.” The linebacker’s current contract has one year left on it, and this offseason, Philly worked an out into it. The $20,665,000 dead cap hit is plainly something Philly does not want to undertake.

General manager Howie Roseman would be well to keep an eye on Reddick’s trade value if he is unwilling to keep him around until his contract expires in 2025. Maybe in return, he can get another player and some compensation for the draft.

Julian Okwara, an outside linebacker, was added by the team amid rumors over Reddick’s future with the Eagles. Is Okwara maybe included in the two-time Pro Bowler’s replacement scheme? The Nigerian linebacker may currently be seen by Philly as a depth player who could contend for a roster position the following season.
