Before Iowa and UConn played in the women’s national semifinal, Hannah Stuelke of Iowa put on a show fit for a movie star.

Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers received most of the attention. During the Hawkeyes’ Final Four matchup with Connecticut, she outperformed everyone who joined her on the floor, even superstar teammate Clark.

With hook shot after hook shot, Stuelke whetted the nylon, displaying her excellent play as Clark’s battery mate throughout the pick-and-roll. Together with a controversial call by the referee, her performance was crucial to Iowa’s success in making it to the national championship game for the second straight year.
