Manager: Unai Emery is shock, Emiliano Martínez explain why he want to leave Aston Villa for…

The incredible goal that Phil Foden scored to complete his hat-trick in Manchester City’s 4-1 victory over Aston Villa has been compared to a similar effort by Wayne Rooney back in 2005.

The Man City forward was tackled just outside the penalty area, but he got back up to won the ball back and then unleashed a powerful left-footed shot that zipped past a stationary Robin Olsen and into the upper right corner.

It’s been likened to Rooney’s goal for Manchester United in 2005. Shortly after disagreeing with the matchday referee, he scored one of his best goals for the Red Devils with an enraged volley against Newcastle, declaring it to be the best goal he had ever scored

In his TNT post-match interview

Moments after disagreeing with the matchday referee, Red Devils scored an enraged volley against Newcastle, which he declared to be his best goal to date.
During Foden’s post-match interview with TNT Sports, host Laura Woods informed him that her coworkers Joleon Lescott and Rio Ferdinand were very supportive of the City player.

Woods stated: “These two were screaming Iniesta nonstop every time you got the ball.” Sitting next to them was an extremely awkward experience.
