SO SAD: The Francisco head coach Chris Gerlufsen announced his departure and…

During a live broadcast of the league’s All-Star Game over the weekend,

outspoken NBA great Charles Barkley called out San Francisco’s “homeless crooks”; as you might guess, his enlightened co-hosts retaliated fiercely.

Inquiring of fellow Hall of Famer Reggie Miller, Barkley said, “If you had a chance of being cold or being around a bunch of homeless crooks in San Francisco…”

Barkley didn’t seem to even get a chance to ask his question before his colleagues hosts instantly pounced with yells of disgust.

“That’s crazy!” Barkley was yelled at by Draymond Green, a player for the Golden State Warriors. Reporter Taylor Rooks said, “No!” before retorting, “We love San Francisco!”

Unfazed, Barkley retorted, “No, we don’t!”

Indeed, we do. Green responded. Green’s crew is based in San Francisco.

“You’re not even able to move around down there!” Barkley countered with an argument.

“You are free to move around,” Green persisted.

“Yes, with security and a bulletproof vest!” Barkley said.

Barkley’s “unnecessary and classless jab at San Francisco” was the subject of a USA Today article, which criticized the NBA icon for his “rude and thoughtless remarks.”

However, it appears that most onlookers agree with Barkley and support his assertions. Elon Musk, for example, wrote, “He’s not wrong.”
