Three Accused of Nearly $350,000 Auto Loan Fraud

SW: Three individuals have been charged with fraudulence, allegedly employing a fraudulent vehicle loan scheme to defraud lenders and other parties in the St. Louis region out of $348,000.

Nine charges of bank fraud and one count of mail fraud were brought against Willie Roy Carter, 74, Kizzie Davis, 45, also known as Kizzie Lofton, 45, and Charles Davis Jr., 56. The indictments were made on December 20, 2023. Carter entered a not guilty plea when he appeared in U.S. District Court in St. Louis on Wednesday. On February 2, the husband and wife Davises entered a not guilty plea.
