Clippers: A worrying injury puts Kawhi Leonard’s status for the All-Star Game in jeopardy

The Los Angeles Clippers were having an incredible night. Brandon Podziemski and Mason Plumlee developed a close bond. After getting in a coach’s ear, Ty Lue had to be removed, and James Harden had to console him. But during this fight with the Golden State Warriors, one individual went missing. Due to an injury, Kawhi Leonard decided to take it easy during their last game before the NBA All-Star break.

It’s not that serious, in my opinion. The Clippers head coach stated, “We didn’t bring him back in the fourth quarter to be smart about it because he played through it the previous game and was having some hip soreness.”

Even so, Leonard was able to participate in their most recent matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Even so, the Clippers two-way player finished the game with four rebounds and an assist. He did appear to be having trouble offensively, though. His shooting percentage appeared to be low, as he only made eight of his seventeen field goal tries. Due to the injury, he was only able to score eighteen points in thirty minutes of play.
