The current favorites to coach Huddersfield Town are an ex-Bradford City player who is getting closer to the former Barnsley manager.

Although Moore has already resumed his duties and assumed leadership at Port Vale, Huddersfield has not yet revealed who will succeed him. The Terriers are scheduled to play Sunderland, and it looks probable that Jon Worthington, the interim manager, will start for the third straight game.

When it comes to recruiting, clubs go above and above in exercising discretion, so supporters are left to constantly check bookmaker odds in an attempt to predict who might be hired.

The top of the BetVictor favorites list remains unchanged, with former Barnsley manager Michael Duff leading the pack. In order to take on a Championship challenge with Swansea City, he left the Reds last summer.

Luke Williams has since taken his place because it was a poor decision. Duff is the 4/6 favorite to replace Moore at John Smith’s Stadium.

This puts him just ahead of Paolo Bianco, who is now the head coach of Modena and is valued at 6/4. In the past, he assisted Roberto De Zerbi at Sassuolo and Shakhtar Donetsk and served as a technical consultant for Juventus.

Regarding current custodian Worthington, there has been some movement; his odds have been shortened to 6/1. Huddersfield views the Terriers academy manager highly, and he has performed admirably since stepping in temporarily.

Former Bradford City midfielder Worthington is ranked higher than players like Gary Rowett, Alex Neil, and Paul Heckingbottom.

Former Leeds United manager Jesse Marsch and former Terriers manager David Wagner are outsiders at 33/1.
