DEF LEPPARD REUNITES WITH ORIGINAL GUITARIST FOR ONE-NIGHT-ONLY LIVE SHOW – STREAMING WORLDWIDE!

Historic lineup returns for a performance fans thought they’d never see again

In a jaw-dropping announcement that’s sent shockwaves through the rock world, Def Leppard has confirmed a one-night-only reunion with original guitarist Pete Willis for a special live performance set to be streamed worldwide. Fans across generations are calling it the rock event of the decade, as the classic lineup — once thought lost to time — returns to the stage for the first time in over four decades.

The special concert, titled “Back Where We Started,” will take place on August 17, 2025, at the legendary Sheffield City Hall, the very venue where the band’s early legacy was forged. The show will celebrate the band’s roots, spanning their pre-‘Pyromania’ era up to the multi-platinum success that defined 80s rock.

Pete Willis, a founding member of Def Leppard, played a pivotal role in crafting the band’s early sound, contributing to both the On Through the Night and High ‘n’ Dry albums before his departure in 1982. His return has been long speculated but never confirmed — until now.

“Getting Pete back on stage with us feels like a full-circle moment,” said frontman Joe Elliott in a press statement. “This isn’t just nostalgia — it’s about honoring where we came from and giving fans a moment they never thought they’d witness.”

The show will feature a setlist packed with deep cuts, early hits like Wasted, Rock Brigade, and Let It Go, and of course, fan favorites from their later albums. Fans unable to attend in person won’t miss out — the event will be livestreamed globally, with multiple camera angles, backstage access, and exclusive interviews included in the virtual experience.

Tickets for the live stream will go on sale June 29, with VIP access offering early behind-the-scenes footage and a downloadable audio recording of the concert.

This moment marks more than just a reunion — it’s a celebration of legacy, brotherhood, and the timeless power of rock ‘n’ roll. For Def Leppard fans around the world, August 17 will be a night to remember.

Streaming platform details and ticket link will be announced on Def Leppard’s official site and social channels.
