2PM to Make Full-Group Comeback in June 2025 After Five-Year Hiatus

SEOUL, South Korea — April 26, 2025

Legendary K-pop boy band 2PM is officially making their long-awaited return as a full group, with a new album set to be released in late June 2025, marking their first full-group comeback in five years.

The announcement has sparked massive excitement among fans globally, as this comeback will feature all six original members—Jun. K, Nichkhun, Taecyeon, Wooyoung, Junho, and Chansung. The album is expected to bring back the group’s signature mature and masculine concept, reminiscent of their viral hit “My House,” which helped solidify their status as K-pop’s “beast idols.”

This marks their first full-group project since all members completed mandatory military service, and signals a new era for 2PM. The group has continued to maintain popularity both in South Korea and Japan, despite limited group activities in recent years.

Meanwhile, individual members have been pursuing solo careers:

Lee Jun-ho, who concluded his 17-year contract with JYP Entertainment in March 2025, is actively continuing his solo career in Japan. He recently wrapped up a successful solo concert tour titled “Midnight Sun”, with stops in Incheon, Tokyo, and São Paulo. Junho is also set to star in the Netflix original series “Cashero”, expanding his already acclaimed acting portfolio.

Wooyoung launched his first solo tour in Japan after five years, performing in Fukuoka to strong fan support. In addition, he released a mini-album titled “Off the Record” in June 2023, showcasing his musical growth with several tracks he wrote and composed himself.

2PM also released Japanese albums such as “Galaxy of 2PM” and the mini-album “With Me Again”, reinforcing their popularity in Japan.

With the June 2025 comeback on the horizon, 2PM is poised to reclaim their position at the top of the K-pop industry. Fans around the world are eagerly awaiting what could be one of the most impactful comebacks of the year.
