While younger players Mason Woods, Thomas Meyer, and Eli Johnson continue to grow, Zach Ortwerth also makes a comeback.

The overall direction of Iowa’s offense adds to the intrigue of this situation. Through the transfer portal, the Hawkeyes added much-needed speed and playmaking ability to the wide receiver position.
