Our Homecoming Grand Marshal, Jan Jensen There isn’t a more appropriate candidate for Homecoming Grand Marshal than Jan Jensen. For more than 20 years, the longtime Iowa women’s basketball head coach has been the beating heart of Hawkeye hoops, and now she’s getting the recognition she deserves.

‎This year’s Homecoming Parade will be led by Jan Jensen, who led Iowa to consecutive trips to the national championship game. It’s a celebration of her significance to the entire Hawkeye community and goes beyond basketball.
