BREAKING: Top Cornerback Commitment — Justice Fitzpatrick, Brother of NFL Star Minkah Fitzpatrick, Commits to Georgia

ATHENS, GA — The Georgia Bulldogs have landed a massive recruiting win with the commitment of Justice Fitzpatrick,  the highly touted younger brother of NFL All-Pro Minkah Fitzpatrick. Ranked as the No. 3 cornerback in the 2026 class, Justice’s decision to commit to Georgia sends a strong message: the Bulldogs are building a defensive backfield that could dominate for years to come.

Fitzpatrick, a 6’1″, 180-pound corner from New Jersey, chose Georgia over offers from Alabama, Ohio State, and Miami. His decision was revealed in a nationally streamed commitment ceremony where he donned the red and black, sparking celebration across Dawg Nation.

“I wanted to go where greatness is the standard,” Fitzpatrick said. “Georgia develops DBs, competes for championships, and feels like home. I’m ready to be a Dawg.”

Known for his elite instincts, fluid movement, and physical style of play, Justice has drawn comparisons to his older brother, who has become a cornerstone of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ secondary. But coaches say Justice is carving his own path — and fast.

“Justice isn’t just Minkah’s little brother. He’s a technician, a competitor, and a true student of the game,” said one national scout. “Georgia’s getting a future All-American.”

His commitment bolsters an already strong 2026 recruiting class for Georgia, which now features multiple top-50 prospects. He also fits perfectly into Kirby Smart’s defensive blueprint — aggressive, smart, and versatile.

With the departure of upperclassmen in the coming years, Fitzpatrick is expected to compete for early playing time once he arrives in Athens. His arrival could mark the next phase of DBU’s evolution under Smart and defensive backs coach Fran Brown.

The Fitzpatrick name carries weight — and now, that weight adds power to Georgia’s future.
