BREAKING: Bryce Oliver’s Rise — Titans’ Sleeper WR Turning Heads at Offseason Workouts

NASHVILLE, TN — Every offseason has its breakout name — and this year for the Tennessee Titans, that name is  Bryce Oliver.

The 6’3″, 210-pound wide receiver has quietly been turning heads throughout OTAs and minicamp, making plays that have coaches, teammates, and analysts buzzing. Once considered a depth piece in a crowded receiver room, Oliver is now making a strong case to earn meaningful reps in the 2025 season — and fans are starting to take notice.

A former standout at Youngstown State, Oliver went undrafted but signed with Tennessee as a free agent in 2024. He spent most of last season on the practice squad, honing his craft and waiting for an opportunity. Now, that patience is paying off.

“He’s made a huge jump,” said head coach Brian Callahan. “His route running has sharpened, he’s winning contested balls, and he’s playing with confidence. He’s earning respect.”

Quarterback Will Levis has already started building chemistry with Oliver, targeting him frequently in red zone drills. Teammates say Oliver’s work ethic is unmatched — often the last to leave the field and first to arrive in the film room.

“Bryce is a dog,” said fellow wideout Treylon Burks. “He’s hungry. You can feel it.”

With veterans like DeAndre Hopkins holding down WR1 duties and younger players like Burks still developing, Oliver’s rise could add unexpected depth to a position group that lacked consistent production last year.

Analysts are now labeling Oliver a  potential “camp surprise”— someone who could not only make the

final 53-man roster but carve out a legitimate role in the offense. His size, hands, and catch radius give Levis a reliable possession target, especially on third downs and in the red zone.

For a Titans team undergoing a youth-driven transition, Oliver’s emergence is more than a feel-good story — it could be a real asset.
