Slayer Reunites for Explosive 2025 Tour Featuring Classic Lineup and Historic Performances

Verified News Report:

After five years of silence following their 2019 farewell tour, legendary thrash metal pioneers Slayer have officially announced their long-awaited reunion and an extensive tour for 2025. The band is set to reunite with its iconic classic lineup—Tom Araya (vocals/bass), Kerry King (guitar), Gary Holt (guitar), and Paul Bostaph (drums)—promising a series of powerful performances across Europe and North America.

The 2025 tour is already shaping up to be one of the year’s most significant events in the heavy metal world. Slayer will begin their return with a headlining show at Blackweir Fields in Cardiff, Wales on July 3, followed by a historic appearance on July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, England, as part of Black Sabbath’s “Back to the Beginning” final concert. This event will also mark Ozzy Osbourne’s last live performance, making it a momentous occasion for rock and metal fans alike.

On July 6, Slayer will headline at Finsbury Park in London, and later cross the Atlantic to perform at Festival d’été de Québec on July 11. The band is also confirmed to appear at the Louder Than Life Festival in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 18–21, with a special headlining set at Hersheypark Stadium in Pennsylvania on September 20.

In addition to the reunion tour, guitarist Kerry King recently launched a solo project and released his debut album From Hell I Rise in May 2024. While promoting the album, King emphasized that Slayer’s return was inevitable due to fan demand and the band’s unfinished legacy.

Fans can expect a setlist packed with timeless Slayer anthems such as Angel of Death, Raining Blood, and South of Heaven. Given the reunion’s significance, ticket demand is high, and fans are encouraged to follow Slayer’s official website and social media for updates.
