Morbid Angel Announces 2025 World Tour and New Album Release: A Thunderous Return to the Global Stage
Death metal legends Morbid Angel have officially announced a long-anticipated return with a massive 2025 World Tour, coinciding with the release of their upcoming studio album titled “Dominion of Shadows.” The announcement has ignited excitement across the metal community, marking the band’s first major international tour since 2019 and their first album release since 2017’s Kingdoms Disdained.
The tour will begin in September 2025 with a series of dates across North America, followed by stops in South America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, with a final leg in Africa—a historic first for the band. The album, scheduled for release in August 2025 under Nuclear Blast Records, will reportedly blend the band’s classic sound with more experimental atmospheric elements. Longtime drummer Steve Tucker returns on vocals and bass, while guitarist Dan Vadim Von and newly recruited drummer Gabe Seeber complete the formidable lineup.
